Office renovations are beginning on Beacon’s dental clinic — something made possible by your generosity. In a community with very limited dental resources, your support is already changing lives. We’ve seen firsthand how untreated dental issues can trigger serious health problems, including one patient whose tooth infection became life-threatening. Now, thanks to you, our equipment is ready, our dentist is in place, and this spring we’ll open a clinic where toothaches are eased, infections treated, and dignity restored. We’re starting with children to build healthy habits early and set them on a path to lifelong care.
Growing Vision
Our optometry program is growing as well, despite the challenge of having no optometrist in our ZIP code. A grant allowed us to purchase a digital eye-exam system, enabling us to conduct remote optometry visits while we continue searching for a full-time provider. This technology removes barriers of distance and scheduling, expanding our whole-person healthcare ministry. I’m grateful to God for the provision that allows us to help children thrive in school, adults work safely, and seniors maintain their independence.
