Victor Anjorin relocated to Staten Island, New York with his wife, Mercy, from Nigeria in 1998. He works as Residential Operations Coordinator at Eden II Programs in Staten Island, serving children and adults with autism since 1999. Since 2002, he has served as Associate Pastor for Orange Foursquare Church in Orange, New Jersey. He received his MBA from Trinity College & Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana. Victor and Marcy have 3 children. His passion is helping meet the needs of people around him by providing counseling for both singles and married couples, serving children and adults with autism and helping their families cope, and promoting positive lives in others.
Physical Therapist
Maria Soto is a resident of Staten Island and a physical therapist who treats patients in home care services, outpatient services and private offices at work. She has had extensive management experience optimizing large staffs and multimillion dollar budgets and has made the delivery and cost of healthcare more efficient and effective. She holds a BS degree in Science and Physical Therapy and Masters in Health Administration from University of Scranton, where she was also an adjunct professor in the physical therapy curriculum. Maria served on the Advisory Council on Minority Affairs for The American Physical Therapy Association National Board .She speaks at workshops on topics about the current state of the art of physical therapy treatments and approaches.

Reverent Annie Cooper is a licensed minister engaged in several Christian ministries. She also provides community outreach services for Staten Island Care Nursing Home.

Lawrence “Larry” Hutchins is a retired financial advisor who served over 40 years with a global financial services organization. He held both advisory and leadership positions while managing one of the firms largest Fairfield County, Connecticut offices. Larry has served on the board of directors for several global and local mission organizations including Medsend and Logoi, where he held a variety of finance committee leadership positions. He currently serves on the board of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Southwest Florida and is a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Naples. Larry and his wife of over 50 years, Peggy, reside in Wilton, Connecticut and Naples Florida. They have a son and daughter, plus five grandchildren. Larry received his BS from the University of Connecticut and holds several professionals credentials including a CIMA from The Wharton School of Business.

Chief Executive Officer
Dr. David Kim is a physician, founder and current CEO of Beacon Christian Community Health Center, New York State's first faith-based, federal and state-certified not-for-profit community health center. Dr. Kim graduated from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, and subsequently completed a combined dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Staten Island University Hospital, Kings County Hospital and Downstate Medical Center. He also holds an MBA in Healthcare from George Washington University School of Business. He is actively engaged with student and resident mentoring, and has spoken at local, state, and national conferences. Among other topics, he is passionate about the significance and importance of integrating faith, work, and life. Dr. Kim and his family attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan and co-leads the Redeemer Healthcare Fellowship. He is a member of Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF) and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations (CMDA) and serves on CMDA's NYC Area Council and the Luis Palau Association-sponsored NYC CityServe. He was raised in Staten Island and still resides there with his wife, Dr. Janet Kim, and 4 young children.
Chief Medical Officer
A native of Chicago, Dr. Janet Kim completed undergraduate studies at Emory University as a double major in psychology and music. She received an MA in Bioethics from Trinity International University. She graduated New York Medical College with a combined MD/MPH degree with a concentration in health care finance and policy. She completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Staten Island University Hospital and joined the staff of the health center afterward until 2006. Her involvement with Beacon began while still a resident, serving as a charter board member in 2003, then joining the staff full time as a physician in 2006, and then becoming its Chief Medical Officer in 2009. Janet retains dual-board certifications in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and continues to see patients. As CMO, she has grown Beacon from a clinical staff of 3 providers providing 3,200 visits in 2006 to a staff of 12 providers, providing comprehensive medical care for adults and children, including women’s health services, totaling over 14,000 annual visits. On top of her professional duties and church and community involvement, she homeschools her 4 young children.
Chief Development Officer
Sheldon “Shelly” Wermes is a marketing and business development specialist who has started two successful companies and has more than 40 years of experience in working with business and ministry leaders. He served as the Chief Development Officer of Medsend, a global medical mission’s ministry and orchestrated its fiscal turnaround. A Rochester Institute of Technology graduate, Shelly served as a U.S. Army Infantry Lieutenant in Vietnam. Shelly is active in his church and served on the board of the Christian Mission for the United Nations Community for over 20 years. He is licensed as an Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor. He and his wife live in Milford, Connecticut and have 3 grown children.
Chief Operating Officer/Chief Technology Officer
William “Bill” Leo has over 30 years of experience holding many senior level technology positions, including Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at several fortune 50 corporations. He has led teams in excess of 100 and managed budgets in excess of $100 Million. Bill holds a Master Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from George Washington University and is certified in Homeland Security for Engineering and Technology, CHS-III from the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. Bill is currently a member in good standing of over a dozen IT management associations. Bill has worked with many not-for-profits, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's) and other community organizations. Bill is a medical volunteer for the Putnam County Medical Reserve Corp and is an active volunteer fireman and NYS Certified EMT. Bill is an ordained Minister with World Christianship Ministries and is past Chaplain of the Kent Volunteer Fire Department and active board member of Digitalwish.org.
